1968 Teacher 6 Poster Set Scholastic Arrow Laugh-In Very Rare Original Beauty

  

All are 17" wide and 27 1/2" wide. Amazing find at a retired teacher's estate sale, Paso Robles Ca. Psychedelic 1968 graphic design reminiscent of Peter Max.

Vivid colors, original posters well preserved, these have been in a flat dark drawer for about 25 years. Can't detect any fade. I can only find one of these posters on the internet, and the likelihood of a full set of posters like these, which were delivered every month or so during the school year even surviving the rigors of a teaching career are not very likely. I'd say they are very rare, and they are also very cool-looking!

Decent laminating with no bubbles or separation, the one poster (People) has apparently been damaged by a lamination jam, likely. It's not terrible but the condition of that poster I'd put at 3/10. Featured are many historical figures and depictions of events. Rowan and Martin's Laugh in is featured, as is somehow a caterpillar smoking a hookah on these classroom posters intended to be hung in a school library of teachers classroom.

I'm not sure they were ever hung after lamination. There is a letter on the back of the "people" poster that welcomes the teacher to the Scholastic Read-A-Book club and outlines the benefits of the club.
