Born the son of a steel worker in Pueblo Colorado there was no reason to believe Tim Trask would do anything but follow in his fathers footsteps. But Pueblo, Colorado is also known as "America's Home of Heroes", as was proclaimed by the United States Congress in 1993, and Tims imagination was fired by a vision of the possibilities of what can be accomplished by time and sustained effort. His work has always been about heroes and legends, those few individuals who go beyond circumstances to become the best that they can be. Thats why when Tim Trask cast his first bronze in 1972; the piece began a lifelong obsession with becoming a Master Sculptor. A Master Sculptor to Tim was not just an academic degree such as a Master of Fine Art but instead was a proven ability and proficiency in both designing and doing the physical work involved in the three major areas of Fine Art creation, bronze, wood, and stone.

To accomplish this end Tim worked in bronze foundries until he could do all phases of the process himself. During this time he created well over 100 monumental sculptures for both himself and fellow artists. To become proficient in wood carving Tim worked for a company designing and carving fine art custom doors and furniture.

To become an expert in stone carving Tim worked for memorial companies designing and carving well over 2000 granite memorials. Tims years of work, span many materials and sizes ranging from miniature to monumental. Today in addition to his bronzes and stone carvings his artwork is taking him in a new direction combining crystal specimens and bronze into unique flights of Fantasy. These unique pieces are a delight to the eye and hand and celebrate the wonder of Nature and life itself. Some of his many private collectors include Princess Anne, George Bush Sr.

Scott Carpenter, Katherine Crosby and (the late) Malcolm Forbes. Among his many accomplishments, Tim has won competitions and completed Public Art projects for 7 cities along the front range of Colorado.
