"Donkey Tails" Signed lithographs by Carl Ernst Fischer 1947. Each picture is of a comical scene involving a donkey with an inscription in pencil on each mount. Carl was an illustrator in the 1920's. During world war II on train journey he was injured in an air raid and lost both his arms. He learned to paint using his mouth and from 1947 / 1948 he continued his work as an illustrator. In 1965 he received the Federal Cross of Merit for his work as co-founder of the association of mouth and foot painting. Each picture measures Height 29cm Width 37cm.
