Description: This very scarse set of 2 prints originate from:'Memoires de L'Academie Royale des Sciences, depuis 1666 jusqu'a 1699. , published by La Compagnie des Libraires, Paris 1733 and 1734. This pioneering work in comparative anatomy was originally published in two folio volumes in Paris, France in 1671-76.

The publication was the work of the famous Parisian anatomists led by Claude Perrault. We did not find these plates nor the complete work offered anywhere else on the web!
