Fall brought scenes of early Middletown, Ohio to life through his wonderful art work. Fall's work is displayed in many area homes as well as at the Middletown Public Library and at the Middletown Historical Society. Fall was trained at the Chicago Art Institute, and the Art Academy in Cincinnati. As a career he specialized in doing medical art for the University of Cincinnati. As a hobby, he did historical scenes and wildlife.

He was adept with oils, pastels, pen and ink, and made woodcuts. He also studied and used photography to record scenes he wanted to draw.
