EXTREMELY RARE - EXQUISITE AND MOST INTERESTING SET OF ORIGINAL JAPANESE ANIMATION ART. THESE DRAWINGS CAME FROM'TOEI ANIMATION STUDIOS' AND WERE USED IN THE ACTUAL PRODUCTION OF THE SUCCESSFUL 80's ANIME TV SERIES'KINNIKUMAN' (MUSCLE MAN).

THE SHOW WAS PRODUCED FROM 1983 TO 1986. THIS SET IS COMPOSED OF 5 PIECES IN TOTAL: 2'GENGA' DRAWINGS (WHITE PAGES) + 2 CORRECTION DRAWINGS (YELLOW PAGES) + 1 STORYBOARD SKETCH STUDIO PHOTOCOPY.

The genga step takes the rough movements and polishes them into more detailed sketches. These are drawn and redrawn again and again as needed, at this step the Key animator will work closely with the animation director to get the exact key points in the movement correctly. Genga are easy to identify in that they are usually numbered in the middle of the page with a circle around them. And pencil colors are usually numerous in Gengas, especially with the new computer animated shows. EXCELLENT Clean and very well preserved art.
