The 3-volume set collects together all plates from Muybridge's 11-part studies and reproduces them in these luxurious volumes. Given that very few original sets of Muybridge exist, this publication by Dover of his the complete works remains a remarkable resource. There is a 42-page introduction by Anita Ventura Mozely including a concordance of plate positions in the original volumes with this edition. This set is in fine condition.
