This scene takes the audience through ruins and jungles of a "Conan" type world o f the cult classic, Fire & Ice, This artwork is a spectacular original production background setup from Ralph Bakshi's rotoscope-animated fantasy film, produced in collaboration with Frank Frazetta. Excitingly, this rare piece is hand-painted by none other than the "Painter of Light" himself Thomas Kinkade. Kinkade is best known for his instantly recognizable, colorful, and idyllic pastoral paintings.

It's a little known fact that Kinkade provided many of the stunning backgrounds for Fire and Ice, contributing to this naturalistic stylization for which the film is widely acclaimed. This is a rare opportunity to own original artwork by Thomas Kinkade! Seen at the 31:57 mark of the film, and it is a must-have for any fan of Ralph Bakshi, Frank Frazetta, Thomas Kinkade, or all of the above!

The large 16 field piece is presented in a 19"x 17" frame with archival matting and museum glass with a window size of 13" x 10". The condition overall is Good. This work was painted in cel vinyl Acrylic on illustration board a Kinkade worked for Bakshi and Frank Frazetta, painting original backgrounds along with his friend James Gurney. Only a few of these backgrounds survive.
