Large original painting Born: 1862 - California Died: 1964 - San Francisco, California Known for: Although a portrait and landscape painter, Skilling is best known for his large canvases of exotic animals. Overall the painting is in good condition considering age. There was a tear 2 inches from frame which has now been professionally repaired.

It was caused by a knife probably when being removed from packaging.
